To learn more about the ancient town of Siracusa visit
our location
page. Just a five-minute stroll from the Sorella Luna
is the short footbridge that takes you into the antiquated
island of Ortigia – Siracusa’s historical
centre. Likewise, a short bus journey through the more
modern part of town will take you to the famed Archaeological
zone and Siracusa’s greatest treasure, the ancient
Greek Amphitheatre, carved into the natural landscape
by colonists nearly 3000 years ago and where Greek Tragedies
are still performed today!

Siracusa is in the southern part of the Island of Sicily,
on the eastern side. It’s connected to the rest
of the country by road (autostrada), rail and sea. |
